What does 'flow type' mean in the workflows tab in edit job?

The system allows you to process candidates for the same vacancy in different ways, depending on the source that supplied them.

For instance:

• Candidates from job boards, job centres, social media and your own website can be processed via an External Workflow
• Existing employees applying via your Intranet can be processed via an Internal Workflow
• Agency submitted candidates can be processed via an Agency Workflow
• Candidates that have emailed or posted a hard copy application form can be processed via a Paper Workflow etc.

In each case, candidates will have a different application form but all candidates will be presented for screening in the same vacancy, at the same stage.

When adding or editing a vacancy, you can choose the workflow types that will be used to process candidates for the role.

Once you have selected a workflow type, you can then choose the specific workflow to be used.
