Progressing Candidates

Hover underlined items to view a definition of the word or phrase.

Candidates are moved through the recruitment process by progressing (or rejecting) their application at each Recruiter Stage.

There are two ways to progress an individual candidate to the next stage of their application:

To Progress Candidate within the Candidate Listing:

  1. Click Candidates and select a job
  2. Find the candidate you would like to progress in the listing
  3. Click anywhere on the candidate’s details within the listing to access the Options Bar
  4. Click Progress from the available options
  5. Click Yes when asked if you are sure

To Progress Candidate within the Record Card:

  1. Click Candidates and select a job
  2. Find the candidate you would like to progress in the listing
  3. Click anywhere on the candidate’s details within the listing to access the Options Bar
  4. Click Card from the available options
  5. Click Progress within the Stage Actions section of the Status page

The candidate’s current stage will be updated when the candidate listing is refreshed

You will be advised if any emails will be sent before you progress the candidate.
