Numbers Only Text Box

Numbers Only Text Boxes are used to ask candidates a question that they must answer using numbers 0-9 and full stops only.

This means that the person completing the form must only use 0-9 and full stops - if they include any other characters or symbols in their answer, they will not be able to submit the form.

To add a new Numbers Only Text Box to your form:

1. Click Create a New Component > Numbers Only Text Box
2. Type the Question Text to appear next to the answer box (e.g. Weekly Hours)
3. Add a Merge Tag if the answer is going to be used elsewhere in the system i.e. to populate fields in Reports or in Email Templates
4. Set the Layout to determine if the answer box appears adjacent to the question text (Horizontal) or underneath the question text (Vertical)
5. Tick the Required box if you would like to make the question mandatory (i.e. the form can't be submitted until the question is answered)
6. Press Save & Return or Save & Add Another if you need to add another component to your form

There are no character limits on numbers only text box answers.
