References - The Basics

Hover underlined items to view a definition of the word or phrase.

Reach gathers candidate references quickly and easily.

You determine whether candidates enter the details of their referees during the initial application form, or later in the process as an additional form.

Once referee details have been provided, an email can be triggered to each referee asking them to provide their reference online.

Emails to referees can be triggered by the HR Administrator:

  • Automatically (by adding the email to a workflow stage) OR
  • Manually (by sending it ad hoc whenever they choose)

To provide their reference, the referee simply clicks on a link in the email and completes an online reference form.

The completed reference is stored in the candidate's record card in the Forms tab.

Track the current status of references by running the Reference Status report.
