Dropdowns present the user with a list of dropdown answers – only one of which may be selected.
You can add as many answers to the dropdown question as are required.
To add a new dropdown to your form:
- Click Create a New Component > Dropdown
- Type the Question Text to appear next to the answer box (e.g. Please choose your preferred Uniform Jacket Size)
- Add a Merge Tag if the answer is going to be used elsewhere in the system i.e. to populate fields in Reports or in Email Templates
- Set the Layout to determine if the answer box appears adjacent to the question text (Horizontal) or underneath the question text (Vertical)
- Tick the Required box if you would like to make the question mandatory (i.e. the form can't be submitted until the question is answered)
- Type the dropdown answers into the Answers text box and press Add.
- Press Save & Return or Save & Add Another if you need to add another component to your form
Please note: if you would like candidates to be Disqualified if they click any specific dropdown answers, simply tick the Disqualify box when adding the answer text.
If you would like to add score weighting to your dropdown answers, simply choose a Score number when adding the answer text.
You can drag the answers into your preferred order.
