Reject a Candidate
Hover underlined items to view a definition of the word or phrase.
Candidates are rejected from the recruitment process by marking their application as Rejected at the relevant recruiter stage.
There are two ways to reject a candidate from the recruitment process:
- Within the Candidate Listing
- Within the Record Card
To Reject a candidate within the Candidate Listing:
- Click Candidates and select a job
- Find the candidate you would like to reject in the listing
- Click anywhere on the candidate’s details within the listing to access the Options Bar
- Click Reject from the available options
- Click Yes when asked if you are sure
To Reject a candidate within the Record Card:
- Click Candidates and select a job
- Find the candidate you would like to reject in the listing
- Click anywhere on the candidate’s details within the listing to access the Options Bar
- Click Card from the available options
- Click Reject within the Stage Actions section of the Status page
The candidate will be moved to the Rejected view in the candidate listing
You will be advised if any emails will be sent before you reject the candidate.
