What does it mean when a vacancy is 'On Hold'?

Occasionally a situation may occur where a live job needs to be placed on hold.

This status removes the job from the Live Jobs list in the vacancy listing and places it into a dedicated On Hold list,

The vacancy can be reinstated to a live job at any time.

Candidates are not affected (there is a candidate On Hold feature that can also be used if required).
