Large Text Box Area

Large Text Box Areas are used on forms to capture longer answers (e.g. Describe your personality).

To add a new Large Text Box Area to your form:

1. Click Create a New Component > Large Text Box Area
2. Type the Question Text to appear next to the answer box (e.g. Describe your personality)
3. Add a Merge Tag if the answer is going to be used elsewhere in the system i.e. to populate fields in Reports or in Email Templates
4. Set the Layout to determine if the answer box appears adjacent to the question text (Horizontal) or underneath the question text (Vertical)
5. Tick the Required box if you would like to make the question mandatory (i.e. the form can't be submitted until the question is answered)
6. Press Save & Return or Save & Add Another if you need to add another component to your form

There are no character limits on large text box answers.
