Email Address Text Box

Hover underlined items to view a definition of the word or phrase.

Email Address Text Boxes are used to force candidates to enter a properly formatted email address.

If the candidate enters anything other than a properly formatted email address in this field, they will not be able to submit the form.

To add a new Email Address Text Box to your form:

  1. Click Create a New Component > Email Address Text Box
  2. Type the Question Text to appear next to the answer box (e.g. Email Address)
  3. Add the Email Address Merge Tag
  4. Set the Layout to determine if the answer box appears adjacent to the question text (Horizontal) or underneath the question text (Vertical)
  5. Tick the Required box if you would like to make the question mandatory (i.e. the form can't be submitted until the question is answered)
  6. Press Save & Return or Save & Add Another if you need to add another component to your form

This feature also stops candidates from applying twice from the same email address.
